JOB DESCRIPTION
The Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiology services, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. The role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Services :
Conduct detailed patient consultations to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions.
Interpret diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and angiograms.
Perform and oversee interventional procedures like angioplasty and stenting.
Manage chronic heart conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
Patient Care:
Provide patient-centered care, ensuring clear communication and empathy.
Educate patients and their families about heart disease prevention, management, and lifestyle modifications.
Follow up with patients regularly to monitor their progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, technicians, and other specialists.
Participate in case discussions and clinical meetings to ensure integrated care.
Coordinate patient care with primary care physicians and other specialists as required.
Qualifications:
Education: Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
Experience: Proven experience as a Cardiologist, with a strong background in both clinical and interventional cardiology.
Licensure: Valid medical license to practice as a Cardiologist.
Skills:
Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
Proficiency in performing and interpreting cardiology diagnostic tests.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to patient care and continuous learning.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with standard working hours.
On-call duties as required.
