Job Summary

We are seeking a proficient WAN Support Associate to become part of our network operations team. The ideal candidate should possess an engineering background with a specialization in networking, preferably holding a CCNA certification. This position entails the monitoring, troubleshooting, and upkeep of our global WAN infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted connectivity and assistance for our business operations. Responsibilities

• Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor WAN performance using network monitoring tools to detect and resolve issues.
• Basic Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot basic network problems, such as routing and switching issues, to maintain smooth network operations.
• ISP Coordination: Collaborate closely with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to address connectivity issues and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
• Incident Management: Manage and respond to network incidents following established protocols to minimize downtime.
• Support: Offer Level 1 and Level 2 support for global WAN operations, escalating unresolved issues to higher technical teams when necessary.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures for future reference.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in training sessions to enhance troubleshooting skills and improve processes.
• Compliance: Ensure that all network support activities comply with organizational security policies and best practices.
### Requirements



• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in network operations and support.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching concepts.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
• Basic knowledge of WAN/LAN technologies.
• CCNA certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 support environment.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
