- Taking ordersTaking orders for drinks and starters, and entering them into the micros with the correct specifications
- Serving ordersServing orders as requested by the guest or according to the service sequence set by management
- CommunicatingExplaining the menu to customers, listening to and accurately recording their orders, and informing the kitchen of the order
- Problem solvingAssessing issues, prioritizing them based on their potential impact on operations, and finding ways to resolve them
- DishwashingBringing dishes from tables back to the kitchen, scraping food off of them, cleaning and sanitizing them, and setting them aside to dry
- CoordinatingWorking with colleagues to ensure smooth operations
