Take Orders: Accurately take food and drink orders from customers, either by writing them down or memorizing them, and input them into the order system.
Serve Food and Beverages: Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met.
Customer Service: Address customer questions and complaints, provide information about the menu and specials, and make recommendations.
Table Maintenance: Clear tables, remove dirty dishes, and ensure tables are set up for the next customers. Keep dining areas clean and organized.
Process Payments: Handle cash, credit card, or other forms of payment efficiently and accurately. Provide change and receipts to customers.
Coordinate with Kitchen Staff: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered on time.
Upsell and Promote Specials: Suggest additional items and promotions to increase sales and enhance the dining experience.
Comply with Health and Safety Regulations: Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages to ensure the safety of customers.
Opening and Closing Duties: Perform duties required to open and close the restaurant, such as setting up tables, restocking supplies, and cleaning.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide a seamless and pleasant dining experience for guests.
