Job description Business: Financial Accounting Open positions: 1 Role Title: VP-Finance Operations, GSC\'s Global Career Band: 4 Location (Country / City ) : Gurgaon Why join us Roles The individual will be responsible for managing Pension Accounting and Reporting (IFRS/Finrep) process Presenting Pension financial report to senior stake holders for their review and signoff Ensuring all the Pension activities are done timely and accurately Review and analysis of pension journals / reports before submission Representing FA in Pension change forums, understating the change / impact on FA process and ensuring smooth implementation Responsible for meeting the defined SLAs, managing good relationship with the customer, maintaining and developing robust controls in the process Co-ordinate & effectively communicate with other teams in diverse locations across in-country / GFC Lead and execute process improvement initiatives within the team and improve efficiency What you\'ll do: Challenges To adapt to the changes related to systems To manage the stakeholders\' expectation for change projects To be able to adapt on the basis regulatory changes Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role: Pension accounting (IAS19) expert, preferably an actuary with 10+ years of experience in DB schemes Additionally, CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) with 15 years of post-qualification experience can be considered. Advance knowledge of MS Excel. Good hands on knowledge of FTP. Exposure to Financial reporting (Exposure to IFRS/FINREP/Central bank reporting will be an added advantage) Advanced capability to understand, analyse and interpret numeric data. Excellent Communication and Inter person skills - Both verbal and written What additional skills will be good to have Prior experience in IFRS reporting will be preferred Knowledge of automation tools like Python, Xceptor will be an added advantage. Must have an analytical bent of mind and ability to work for solutions to the adhoc queries. Should be willing to stretch as per the project requirements.
