Global Finance Centres (GFC) provides a variety of financial support services to business partners across the HSBC Group.
Group Regulatory team is responsible for producing the Capital structure and RWA and Leverage disclosures in the Group Annual Report & Accounts and for meeting all Pillar 1, Pillar 3 and Regulatory MI Reporting requirements under Basel 3.
The purpose of this role is to primarily manage and support the Developments and Controls workstream within the CCR Regulatory Reporting team, responsible for monthly and quarterly returns for submission to the PRA and the preparation of other analysis for internal customers and senior stake holders.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:Principal Accountabilities KPI and TargetsService Delivery
Manage and support the HBEU and Group CCR LER deliverables within the CCR Regulatory Reporting team in a timely and effective manner.
Design and perform front to back LER control process and ensure all controls and adjustments are reviewed and passed in order to produce reportable LER numbers
Perform and review monthly LER CCR Reporting and production deliverables, capture review points and ensure sign off
Prepare and review quarterly LER/CCR Coreps for reporting and manage the front to back delivery of assigned Coreps
Work closely with multiple stakeholders (Change Delivery, IT and other business stakeholders) to deliver high quality releases into production (including upcoming regulatory changes), that includes but not limited to documenting requirements, prioritization and subsequent end-to-end regression testing.
Manage and support the control framework of the reporting process to ensure design and operational effectiveness on an on-going basis including but not limited to periodic reviews and appropriate documentation.
Understand in-depth CCR Regulatory Reporting processes and relevant CRD IV / CRR Rules.
Understand and support in documentation of global Regulatory data requirements for Reporting.
Ensure ongoing Reporting and analysis support for seamless service delivery of global Regulatory Reporting to various stakeholders adhering to agreed service levels.
Prepare and present templates for monthly and quarterly submissions to the PRA (and other regulators), and other internal customers specific to capital schedules.
Timely submission of monthly and quarterly returns by sites to Regulatory Reporting.
Timely submission of monthly and quarterly returns to the PRA.
Timely preparation of other analysis requested by internal customers.
Keeping up to date with regulatory consultations and assist the team with interpreting & implementing current and upcoming PRA regulatory requirements.
Good communication skills to be able to collaborate with multiple senior stakeholders on a daily basis.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in change and automation initiatives.
Pro-active approach in highlighting issues for a timely resolution.

RequirementsWhat you will need to succeed in the role:
Minimum 10 - 12 years of experience in Regulatory Reporting with strong understanding of CCR \xe2\x80\x93 SA-CCR Regulation
An accounting degree, bachelors\xe2\x80\x99 degree, or other qualifications relevant to the industry. MBA, CA, CWA, CS, CPA, CFA a plus.
Strong Knowledge of Regulatory Environment including CRD IV / CRR Rules, BASEL norms, GSIB Reporting, Stress Testing & IFRS standards.
Be number savvy and have the appetite in handling and processing mass volume of data
Strongly analytical and logical mind-set with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other query tools (Microsoft Office Access, SQL).
Independent and Confident, able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Excellent time management and timely delivery of regulatory reporting information.
Leadership skills, with ability to build rapport with internal & external customers / Business areas.
Must have excellent attention to detail and work within tight deadlines ensuring a complete and accurate flow of information\'s between stakeholders.
Must be experienced in working under pressure on multiple process improvement projects.
Ability to make robust decisions justifiable in an international environment.
Awareness of Project environments.
