Job responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Understand the modernization journey of several finance technology applications from legacy on-prem deployments to a target state Public Cloud adoption where applications are designed for high performance, high security and best in class user experience.
• Collaborate with passionate and dedicated teams of architects, aligning cross-functional and crossline of business projects, ensuring that they\'re technically advanced and ROI driven. At the same time, you will share the knowledge and build capabilities across geographies for best practice adoptions
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and system
• Maintain technical acumen by pursuing formal and informal learning opportunities about technology, JPMorgan Chase products, and financial services\xe2\x80\x8b
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, infrastructure design, testing, and operational stability
• Overall software engineering experience of 10+ years with at least 5 years in the role of a Software Engineering Development with solid experience in design and implementing enterprise programs
• Advanced in SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Programming and SAP BW Modelling. Solid hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA, OData Services, CDS Views.
• Candidate should possess functional knowledge in SAP FICO, General Ledger, Special Purpose Ledgers.
• Conceptual knowledge in AWS cloud would be an additional advantage
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery method
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc).
• BE/BS Degree or equivalent qualification

Desired qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Working knowledge of AWS would be an added advantage
• Exposure to SAP BW would be a plus
