This leader will develop strategies to ensure fair and consistent practices across all business areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering positive employee relations, drive advocacy for our level 4 - 7 employee population, and implement proactive measures to maintain a positive and productive work environment. This role requires the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and other stakeholders.Were proud to offer you choice and flexibility. You may be occasionally requested to commute to our nearest hub for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement proactive employee relations strategies and programs to promote a positive and productive work environment that supports the evolving needs of our employees.Provide guidance and advocacy to management and employees on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.Proactively solicits and analyzes multiple areas of employee feedback, across all levels, to identify & prioritize opportunities for improvement in all facets of our employee lifecycle.Collaborate with HR, legal, employee experience and business subject matter experts to ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.Lead the HR Advocacy team, serving as the primary point of contact for India based Associate employee population.Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and management on employee relations and labor best practices.Stay updated on labor market trends, activities, and changes in labor laws to proactively address and avoid potential issues.Build and maintain positive relationships to foster open communication with employees, management, and other stakeholders.Develop communication strategies, conduct employee meetings, and address concerns to maintain a fair workplace.Design and drive employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and other proactive strategies to enhance overall employee well-being and retention.REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: Masters degree in human resources with 8 years of experience; in lieu of a degree 12+ years experience in human resources.8+ years of increasing HR experience in Human ResourcesIn-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and other relevant legislationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex employee relations issues and develop effective solutions.Proven experience in conducting investigations, resolving conflicts, and managing employee grievances.Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Internal Candidates:18 months in Synchrony and 12 months in the current role and level.Should not in good standing, not on active formal or final formal corrective or active performance improvement plan.DESIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: A master's degree is preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees, management, and external stakeholders.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Professional certifications in employee relations, labor relations, or related fields are a plus.ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Masters degree in human resources with 8 years of experience; in lieu of a degree 12+ years experience in human resources.8+ years of increasing HR experience in Human ResourcesWORK TIMINGS: 24/7FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTS:
