Location: Noida (Onsite / No hybrid)As the VP of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in the company\'s financial leadership team. This position requires an accomplished finance executive with a strong background in managing finance teams, driving financial strategy, and ensuring robust financial operations. YYou get to conduct brainstorming sessions on a regular basis with the CEO and along with senior management, to build and deploy financial models, complex financial strategies, fund flow models and roadmaps.Requirement:Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Develop a robust financial strategy aligned with the company\'s goals.
• Create detailed financial models projecting revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
• Work on scenario analysis to assess the impact of different variables on financial outcomes.

Fundraising Preparation:

• Assess the current financial health and determine the fundraising requirements.
• Develop a compelling business case for investors, emphasizing growth potential and profitability.
• Strengthen relationships with existing investors and explore new funding sources.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

• Ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting.
• Implement or enhance financial controls and compliance processes (Credit/ concessions policy, commissions policy, bonus policy etc)
• Prepare the organization for increased scrutiny and reporting requirements as it moves towards an IPO.

Budgeting and Cost Management:

• Streamline budgeting processes and establish cost controls.
• Identify areas for cost optimization without compromising growth.
• Communicate financial goals and expectations to relevant departments.

Accounting and Tax:

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP), especially in terms of revenue recognition.
• Establish clear guidelines for recognizing SaaS subscription revenue and fintech revenue.
• Provide transparent communication to stakeholders on revenue recognition policies.
• Manage audits and associated processes.

Revenue, A/R, and Collections Operations

• Ensure collections are matching the reported Live ARR and if not have revenue leakage detection mechanisms in place to track and fix.
• Have accurate collections forecasting.Risk Management:
• Evaluate and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Develop contingency plans for potential challenges.
• Establish risk management protocols and ensure the company is adequately insured.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the finance team.

Technology and Systems:

• Evaluate and enhance financial systems and technologies for scalability.
• Implement tools that aid in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance.
• Ensure data security and privacy compliance

Talent and Team Building:

• Assess the finance and accounting team\'s capabilities and make necessary adjustments.
• Hire or develop talent to support the company\'s financial goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA, MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a finance leader in a B2C SaaS environment.
• Experience in building and managing teams.
• Demonstrated success in managing finance teams and driving financial strategy.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, budgeting, and FP&A processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
