The desired employee is expected to not only design and execute the strategic roadmap but also lead a highly motivated team to deliver end-to-end and actionable insights for enterprise-wide campaigns, solving problems with scalable solutions that are powered by data and analytics. This role will be pivotal in ensuring our marketing campaigns are data-driven, highly effective, and continuously optimized to achieve the best results.Essential Responsibilities:Develop and implement a time-bound, tangible and actionable analytics roadmap & vision for the newly created Campaign Measurement team, outlining key milestones, resources, and timelines for achieving long-term goals.Spearhead and drive adoption of Enterprise and Platform specific actionable insights/best practices based on sales and profitability through build of new as well as existing tools, analyzing campaigns across all channelsCollaborate with other centralized/platform campaign measurement teams to align and build a comprehensive and one-stop POV on themes of campaign effectiveness at Platform and Enterprise level.Partner with other teams to define and monitor KPIs to evaluate the success of campaigns and optimize ROI. Leverage these metrics to create and present net new strategic solutions to senior leadership, showcasing campaign performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.Be a hands-on leader and be able to roll-up sleeves to lead projects, perform data analysisBuild strong relationships with US and IAH teams to communicate the value proposition of the team and drive engagements and business impact across the enterprise.Foster a culture of innovation & learning within people with high emphasis on sustainable & scalable practices. Acquire proficiency with different data tools and software to improve current capabilities and create new products and solutionsMaintain documentation of all tools and solutions to drive clarity on processes/definitions as well as knowledge retentionDeliver on people management responsibilities including team planning, hiring, performance evaluation and career guidanceDeliver projects, adhering to expected timelines, accuracy & compliance with meticulous project management and mentor team members on analytical, technical and functional subject mattersLead internal initiatives, perform other duties and/or special projects, as assignedRequired Skills & Knowledge:Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 10+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience, or in lieu of a degree 12+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience.8+ years in building analytics to drive strategy with positive outcomes and measuring impact8+ years of hands-on Experience in SQL /SAS with proven ability to leverage advanced algorithms and be efficient in handling complex/large data;3+ years of experience in BI tools, e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Birst, etc.5+ years in marketing analytics, with a focus on campaign measurement and optimizationAdvanced knowledge of statistical methods, A/B testing, and multivariate testing.5+ years of experience in managing teams with ability to motivate team, drive change, create a culture of learning, innovation and recognitionAbility to solve complex technical and people-oriented problems with minimal supervisionAdvanced proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint with superior data analyses and story boarding skillsStrong written/oral communication & stakeholder management skillsDesired Skills & Knowledge:Superior thought leadership and framework based solutioning abilitiesExperience in storytelling, presenting to senior leaders with strong communication skillsInnovative mindset that looks to improve current capabilities and discover new onesExperience working with Python and R, preferably in a Linux-based cloud environment such as AWSExperience with modeling/forecastingEligibility Criteria:Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 10+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience, or in lieu of a degree 12+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience.Work Timings: This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time - 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
