About part time job/internship

Our volunteer program is about mapping volunteers with artisans across India, with the purpose of providing sustainable livelihoods to artisans through training and interaction. The volunteer would gain practical exposure in social work by taking on entire responsibility throughout.

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Learn about the traditional art and about the artisan through research and continuous interaction
2. Understand the process of art from the artisan and everything around their production process
3. Understand the difficulties faced by the artisan and learn how to make it more efficient
4. Work on how to enhance the production of the artisan to increase their earning potential
5. Handle logistics and supply chain for the mapped artisans
6. Ensure highest quality of products by mentoring and supervision
7. Find local corporates and cafes to grab partnerships and orders for the artisans
8. Partner with more artisans, who deal with other art forms as well from nearby areas
9. Provide suggestions on how Gullakaari can increase impact

Note:

1. Duration: 2 weeks; major work (on-field) on weekends/other day if available (total 4 days across two weeks)
2. Availability: By 30th June 2023
3. Incentives: 2,000 + traveling costs will be catered to separately
