Volunteer Role (Un-paid): Environmental Science Champion (Sector 15, Faridabad)

Vandanam , a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a sustainable and equitable future for all, seeks passionate and dedicated individuals residing in Sector 15, Faridabad, or within a 5km radius, to join our mission as Environmental Science Champions .

This unique volunteer role focuses on addressing critical environmental challenges within our local community, including:

• Green Waste Management: Exploring innovative solutions for composting, vermicomposting, and utilizing green waste as resources.
• Sewage and Wastewater Treatment: Investigating and proposing sustainable solutions for improving sewage and wastewater management.
• Street Electricity: Promoting energy efficiency, exploring renewable energy options, and advocating for sustainable energy solutions.

We are looking for individuals who:

• Possess a strong foundation in Environmental Science: With a background in environmental studies, ecology, environmental engineering, or related fields.
• Are passionate about environmental conservation: Deeply committed to creating a sustainable future for our community.
• Are driven by a desire to make a tangible impact: Eager to contribute to practical solutions for local environmental challenges.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Able to identify root causes of environmental issues and develop effective solutions.
• Are excellent communicators and collaborators: Able to effectively communicate with community members, stakeholders, and the Vandanam team.
• Are self-motivated and results-oriented: Able to work independently and proactively towards achieving project goals.
• Embrace a hands-on approach: Willing to engage in fieldwork, community outreach, and practical implementation of solutions.

This is a volunteer position, and no monetary compensation will be provided. We are seeking individuals who are deeply passionate about our mission and driven by a desire to contribute to a more sustainable future.
