IMBS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Billing professional to join our team in the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) department. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing and reimbursement for medical services provided. Position: Medical Biller, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Location: Ahmedabad Shift Time: Night

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medical documentation to accurately assign appropriate billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, etc.) for all services rendered.
• Prepare and submit electronic and paper claims to insurance companies, government agencies, and third-party payers.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and appeals to ensure maximum reimbursement.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, coding errors, and other related issues.
• Maintain accurate patient records and billing information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, coding guidelines, and reimbursement policies.
• Provide training and support to other team members on medical billing processes and best practices, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of [X] years of experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in a healthcare or medical billing services setting.
• Proficiency in using medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and other coding systems.

• Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Certification in Medical Billing and Coding (e.g., CPC, CBCS) is a plus.
