JOB DESCRIPTION - Virtualization Services The Virtualization Lead position is a senior resource with experience in virtualization infrastructure aspects that focus on leading a team of Engineers on design, configuration, implementation, and management aspects of private/hybrid cloud (virtualized infrastructure) environments that are built on VMware vSphere and Nutanix HCI. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science / MIS or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in Virtualization and two (2) years of additional experience as a Lead/Similar Role.
- Working experience with different stakeholders in multiple geographies.
- Infrastructure Project coordination, implementation, and delivery experience.
- Experience in resolving complicated technical issues and troubleshooting.
- Sound knowledge of VMware vSphere and Nutanix are mandatory.
- Overall knowledge of SAN and Backup Technologies and Cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience in Automation technologies / Infrastructure as a code (Ansible,CICD,Power CLI , Power shell, etc )
- Ability to independently learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to advance the development capabilities of the organization.
- Strong communication, and presentation skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people and work with a variety of internal and external groups.
- Ability to be self-motivated and work collaboratively with different divisions to achieve the objectives of the organization.
- Experience in Agile and Scrum practices.
- VMware Certifications such as VCP, VCAP
- Nutanix Certifications (NCA, NCP \xe2\x80\x93 MCI)
- ITIL- Foundation
- AWS Certification
- Other Vendor Certifications on relevant technologies
