VMware Admin



We are looking for a skilled and motivated VMware VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) & Virtual Server Migration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware VCF platforms, virtual server migrations using HCX, and the deployment of both Windows and Linux operating systems. This role requires strong communication skills, as you will be liaising with internal business customers to manage migrations and troubleshoot any issues that arise. The candidate should also have a solid understanding of general networking principles, as well as experience supporting Cisco UCS Intersight systems. The position will involve supporting the overall virtualization infrastructure and ensuring smooth operation through troubleshooting, remediation, and migration processes.



Job expectation:

Provide expert support and troubleshooting for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.


Assist with the deployment and configuration of VCF components including vSphere, vSAN, vCenter, and NSX in VMware Cloud environments.


Monitor and maintain VCF infrastructure to ensure the platform is running efficiently.


Lead and support virtual server migrations utilizing the VMware HCX migration tool to seamlessly transition workloads from on-premise environments to cloud-based or other VMware environments.


Deploy and configure Windows and Linux operating systems on virtual machines (VMs), ensuring they are set up according to organizational standards and security best practices







Primary skills:

Expertise in VMware VCF platform and related components (vSphere, vSAN, vCenter, NSX).

Operating System Deployment (Windows & Linux)
