Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VMC Operator to join client's manufacturing team. A VMC Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines to produce precision parts and components as per engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves setting up tools and fixtures, performing machining operations, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the final products.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude, experience in machining, and a commitment to excellence in precision manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines efficiently and safely.
• Set up tools, fixtures, and materials for machining jobs as per the drawing and specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions to ensure precise machining.
• Conduct tool changes, offsets, and basic machine programming when required.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of machines to ensure proper functionality.
• Monitor machining operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and production targets.
• Measure and inspect finished products using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot minor issues in machining processes and escalate major issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a VMC operator in a manufacturing/engineering environment for 2 years.
• Freshers also invited with basic knowledge in VMC.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and G-code/M-code understanding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with tooling, machining processes, and machine controls.
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and meet production deadlines.

• This is a full-time position based in Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
