Our Team:


The newly founded and multiskilled Data & Analytics team aims at delivering data across CHC globally. The team is composed of several entities "Data Governance", "Advanced Analytics", "Data Modelling & Architecture", "Program & Operations" and regional "Data & Analytics Leads"

Main responsibilities

This position reports to Visual Analytics Expert in the CHC business unit in Sanofi.

• A cornerstone of CHC transformation in the coming years, the Power BI Expert will work under the guidance of the Data Visualization Lead Architect to define the strategy and operationalization of dashboards and reports, providing insights and trends for the CHC business unit's growth.
• This position focuses on presenting large amounts of information in ways that are universally understandable or easy to interpret, helping to spot patterns, trends, and correlations. These representations include charts, graphs, infographics, and other pictorial diagrams.
• The Power BI Expert will closely collaborate with business partners, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver enterprise-grade, best-in-class data analytics and visualization solutions. This role emphasizes the optimization of Power BI environments for usability, performance, flexibility, testability, standardization, and automation.
• The Power BI Expert will act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support for complex projects and issues, offering insights and recommendations on best practices, including performance improvements.


About you


You will work with a diverse team of business analysts, data scientists, technical engineers, data architects, and project managers to deliver outcomes aligned with our business partner's strategy

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The Visual Analytics Expert will be responsible for:

• Provide support, maintenance, and enhancements to self-service analytics platforms ensuring stability, quality, and performance. Resolved all incidents and requests for changes in a timely fashion.
• Creation of innovative and AI features.
• Standardization of processes related to Power BI to ensure consistent and efficient use of data visualization tools.
• Assisting internal teams in creating reports and dashboards.
• Ensuring that projects developed by external teams comply with our guidelines and internal processes.
• Optimizing existing processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement collaborative and industrialized dashboards and reports to CHC Business.
• Develop and deliver high-quality data visualization, reporting, and analytical solutions adhering to best practice, privacy, and governance principles.
• Supports ETL, data, business intelligence, advanced analytics architectures
• Provide full lifecycle Power BI administration including the ability to work with data owners, data architects, and report developers to support their needs.
• Develop complex analytical solutions, while maintaining the output performance.
• Lead data literacy initiative by engaging with vendors & contractors to set up training schedules, facilitating sessions, and promoting self-service analytical tools adoptions across the company.
• Perform administrative functions to ensure proper global settings configuration and provision of organizational resources in all aspects of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Cloud Service.
• Install, configure, and maintain Power BI Gateways, and manage access provisioning to users.


Ensure that data is managed in compliance with applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.), and cybersecurity requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

5 years or more experience in Reporting and Analytics space, 5+ years' experience in Power BI

• Having 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence in working with visualization tool Power BI with knowledge in paginated reports, DAX and SQL.
• Experience in prepping, cleansing, modeling, analyzing, and visualizing data utilizing self-service and report development software, much of which has been focused on working with cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide data management programs.
• Experience in administration and management of Power BI platform including the configuration of pipelines, governance policies, usage monitoring, and provisioning of licenses, capacities, and organizational resources.
• Good technical knowledge and excellent Troubleshooting skills with the ability to understand the Business Requirements.
• Skilled at assessing client needs, working in groups, suggesting ideas that enhance efficiency and performance.
• Agile ways of working and large projects phased delivery.

Data & Business intelligence domain and software experience is a plus:

• Experience of Interfacing heterogeneous systems and data sources
• Working knowledge of Snowflake, DataBricks, Python/R
• Working knowledge of Informatica, Layer 7 and Apigee
• Working knowledge of procuring data from ERPs (SAP, JDE, etc.).
