We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer. In this role you will: Understand business functions and come up with test scenarios (functional & technical) based on discussions and notonlybe dependent on having exhaustive or formal functional spec documentation Help analyze & come up with test data requirements and other environment requirements Conduct testing using test scenarios and document the results appropriately Be able to coordinate testing activities across various interfacing teams Participate in Sprint planning sessions Manage defect triage help and provide inputs to prioritize and as required Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases Contribute to carrying regression packs are designed appropriately in sync with the releases. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: Strong experience in, and at least 2+ years of working in QA in banking domain Functional Knowledge in banking domain specially regarding risk and lending functions such as credit cards, loans, or mortgages Strong Experience in writing and executing manual tests Strong experience in Software Test Life cycle (STLC), QE Processes and able to maintain test artifacts and documentation. Experience in executing online and batch test scenarios needing multiple batches Excellent communication skills to collaborate with Business (Test case reviews/Results walkthroughs) and IT teams (Deployments/Fixes/Change Requests) Hands-on working knowledge in one or more Vision-plus modules like CMS, CTA etc.. Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets such as Quality Center, JIRA. Should have basic knowledge of mainframe TSO Commands will be advantageous.
