We are seeking a passionate and experienced Online Virtual Robotics Mentor to join our team. As a mentor, you will guide and inspire students through their robotics journey, helping them build strong foundations in robotics and engineering principles. You will provide one-on-one or small group instruction, utilizing our curriculum and teaching materials.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging and interactive online robotics sessions for students aged 10 and above.
• Teach robotics concepts including but not limited to basic electronics, programming, mechanical design, and control systems.
• Develop personalized learning plans based on individual student needs and progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve their robotics skills.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment to foster student engagement and motivation.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure successful learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to continuously improve teaching materials and methods.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in robotics to provide relevant and up-to-date instruction.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in robotics concepts and tools, including but not limited to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, actuators, and basic programming.
• Previous experience in teaching or mentoring students in robotics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable environment for conducting online sessions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• Experience with educational tools and platforms related to robotics.
• Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in robotics education.
• Experience in creating robotics projects and assignments for students.
