We are seeking a passionate and experienced Online Virtual Coding Mentor to join our team. As a mentor, you will guide and inspire students through their coding journey, helping them build strong foundations in programming and problem-solving skills. You will provide one-on-one or small group instruction, utilizing our curriculum and teaching materials.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging and interactive online coding sessions for students aged 10 and above.
• Teach coding concepts using languages such as Scratch, pictoblox, Python, web designing, and others as required.
• Develop personalized learning plans based on individual student needs and progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve their coding skills.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment to foster student engagement and motivation.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure successful learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to continuously improve teaching materials and methods.
• Stay updated with the latest coding trends and technologies to provide relevant and up-to-date instruction.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Scratch, Python, pictoblox, web designing, or others.
• Previous experience in teaching or mentoring students in coding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable environment for conducting online sessions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
• Experience with educational tools and platforms such as Pictoblox, Scratch, or similar.
• Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in coding education.
• Experience in creating coding projects and assignments for students.
