We are specializing in both online and offline advertising. Position Overview:

At Social Santa, we are seeking a creative and skilled Videographer & Video Editor to bring stories to life through engaging visuals. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage and transforming it into compelling videos that align with our brand's voice and goals. From pre-production planning to post-production editing, you will play a pivotal role in crafting impactful content for various digital platforms.

Key Roles Responsibilities:

Videographer:

1. Pre-Production:

Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements, storyboards, and shot lists.

Scout locations, arrange props, and manage equipment setup.

2. Production:

Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage.

Direct on-set activities and ensure visual consistency throughout the shoot.

Troubleshoot technical issues during filming.

3. Post-Production Support:

Organize and deliver raw footage for editing.

Provide feedback and suggestions for refining shots during editing stages.

Video Editor:

1. Editing:

Edit raw footage into cohesive and compelling videos using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

Add motion graphics, transitions, and special effects as required.

Synchronize audio and enhance sound quality.

2. Creative Input:

Collaborate with the creative team to align video edits with the brand's vision and messaging.

Incorporate feedback and revisions promptly to meet deadlines.

3. Optimization:

Format and optimize videos for various platforms (social media, websites, etc.).

Ensure all final edits adhere to technical specifications and platform requirements.

4. Asset Management:

Organize and maintain a library of project files, raw footage, and completed videos.

Ensure backup of important data.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in videography equipment (cameras, gimbals, drones, etc.).

Strong knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.).

Creative storytelling and an eye for detail in framing and composition.

Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing project requirements.

Familiarity with color grading, audio editing, and visual effects.

Time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

A degree or certification in Film, Media, or a related field.

Experience with social media content creation.

Knowledge of motion graphics or animation is a plus.

Desired Traits:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
