: Videographer and Video EditorPosition Overview:

We are seeking a creative and talented Videographer and Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and a passion for storytelling through video. This role involves both capturing high-quality video content and editing it into engaging and visually appealing final products.

Key Responsibilities:

Videography:

Plan, shoot, and direct video content for various projects including promotional videos, social media content, corporate videos, and events. Operate and maintain video equipment such as cameras, lighting, and microphones. Set up and manage video shoots, ensuring proper lighting, sound, and composition. Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project goals and requirements.

Video Editing:

Edit raw footage into polished videos, incorporating music, sound effects, graphics, and special effects. Ensure the final product aligns with the project's vision and meets the client's specifications. Color correct and grade video to achieve the desired look and feel. Optimize videos for different platforms and formats, including web, social media, and broadcast.

Project Management:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates and gather feedback. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in videography and video editing.

Creative Input:

Contribute to the creative process by brainstorming and pitching ideas for new video content. Continuously improve video content by incorporating feedback and experimenting with new techniques.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Videographer and Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. Experience with motion graphics and animation software like After Effects is a plus. Strong understanding of video production processes, from pre-production to post-production. Excellent visual storytelling skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Additional Skills:

Knowledge of color grading and sound editing. Familiarity with different video formats and codecs. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:

A degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant work experience and a strong portfolio are highly valued.
Work Environment:

This position may require working in various environments, including office settings, outdoor locations, and client sites. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for shoots and deadlines.
