Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Video Transcriber to join our team. The transcriber will be responsible for accurately transcribing video and audio content into written formats in English, Bengali, and Hindi . The role requires proficiency in all three languages, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality transcripts within deadlines. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's efforts to create accessible and meaningful content for parents, professionals, and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcription Tasks:
• Accurately transcribe videos, webinars, training sessions, and interviews into written text.
• Ensure proper formatting and clarity while maintaining fidelity to the spoken content.
• Identify and label speakers when required.
• Language Skills:
• Transcribe content in English , Bengali , and Hindi .
• Translate between languages if required, ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy.
• Content Review & Editing:
• Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and context.
• Ensure technical terms and industry-specific vocabulary are accurately transcribed.
• Time Management:
• Deliver transcriptions within set deadlines.
• Maintain proper records and archives of all completed transcripts.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the content creation team to ensure transcripts meet project requirements.
• Provide input to improve accessibility and effectiveness of the content.
• Technical Use:
• Operate transcription software and tools for efficiency.
• Use time-stamping and speaker identification when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Language Proficiency:
• Strong command over English , Bengali , and Hindi (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with regional dialects, accents, and variations in spoken language.
• Experience:
• Previous experience in transcription, subtitling, or similar roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with neurodevelopmental terms and educational/therapy-related content is an added advantage.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in using transcription software and tools.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Other Requirements:
• Understanding of the neurodevelopmental field and a passion for making content accessible for parents and caregivers is desirable.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
