Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Shooter and Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and proficiency in both shooting and editing video content. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage, editing videos to meet the company's standards, and collaborating with the marketing and creative teams to produce compelling visual content.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Video Shooting:

• Operate video cameras, on location or in the studio, in the production of professional pre-recorded programming.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop shot lists and storyboards.
• Set up and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production.
• Ensure proper lighting and sound levels are maintained during shoots.

2. Video Editing:

• Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance the video.
• Assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
• Create rough and final cuts.

3. Pre-Production and Post-Production:

• Plan the shoot with the creative team and the client.
• Prepare necessary equipment and locations.
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.

4. Collaboration:

• Work closely with producers, directors, and other team members throughout the production process.
• Participate in creative meetings to provide input on scripts, locations, and storyboards.
• Provide creative input and suggest improvements to enhance the quality of the videos.

5. Technical Skills:

• Proficient in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.
• Experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut).
• Knowledge of camera operation, DSLR technology, and other video equipment.
• Basic knowledge of color grading and audio mixing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, Video Production, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Video Shooter and Editor.
• Strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of graphics and animations.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
• Understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements.

Salary Range- 15k to 20k

Location- Delhi, On-site only

Working Days- 6 Days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
