Job Title: Video Editor

Location: Kolkata

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting. The role involves a strong understanding of storytelling, video editing software, and the ability to work within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring quality and consistency with the brand's style and tone.
• Work closely with the production team, including producers, directors, and other editors, to understand project scope and requirements.
• Develop a clear narrative and ensure the flow of the video aligns with the project's objectives.
• Perform all tasks related to post-production, including sound design, color correction, and adding special effects or motion graphics.
• Create various types of video content, including promotional videos, advertisements, tutorials, interviews, and social media content.
• Review footage, create rough cuts, and make revisions based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Organize and manage digital assets, ensuring files are correctly labeled and stored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, or similar.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and file management.
• Ability to work with motion graphics and special effects software (e.g., After Effects)
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
