Job Title: Video Editor

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a polished final product that aligns with the company's vision and brand guidelines. This role requires technical expertise in video editing software, a strong sense of storytelling, and the ability to collaborate with other creative team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into engaging and visually appealing content.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver content that meets objectives.
• Insert music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance videos.
• Review and organize raw footage to create seamless video narratives.
• Stay up-to-date with editing trends and techniques to bring fresh ideas to projects.
• Manage and maintain video archives.
• Adjust and improve color grading, sound quality, and other technical aspects of video content.
• Optimize video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and broadcasts.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus (After Effects or similar).
• Strong storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of different video formats, codecs, and resolutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A portfolio or reel showcasing previous video editing projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their video content requirements (e.g., Instagram, YouTube Reel).
• Basic knowledge of sound design and audio editing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ?20,000.00 per month
