: Video Editor

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Video Editor with a minimum of 3 years of expertise in video editing, specifically for interview-based content and podcasts. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, with a strong focus on storytelling through video and audio, and the ability to maintain a cohesive and engaging visual style. This role involves editing recorded interviews and podcasts to produce professional, polished final products suitable for publishing across various digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce high-quality video content focused on interviews and podcasts, including cutting, splicing, audio balancing, and color correction.
• Add titles, graphics, transitions, and effects to enhance the overall quality and engagement of the video.
• Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro to manage, organize, and execute complex editing projects.
• Use Photoshop to create or edit graphics, thumbnails, and visual assets as needed.
• Ensure audio clarity and continuity, removing background noise and balancing audio levels to maintain professional standards.
• Collaborate with producers, interviewers, and other team members to ensure alignment with the brand's visual and storytelling goals.
• Keep up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in video editing, particularly within the interview/podcast niche.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, with a focus on interviews and/or podcasts.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong storytelling abilities, with the capacity to create engaging, polished interview/podcast content.
• Excellent attention to detail and a critical eye for maintaining quality across video and audio components.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote or in-house team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with audio editing tools, such as Audition or Audacity.
• Knowledge of social media video formats and content optimization for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Background in sound design and/or basic animation is a plus.

Pay: ?10,135.74 - ?20,000.00 per month
