We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging, and visually compelling video content that aligns with the company's vision and meets project objectives. This role involves working closely with production teams, directors, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality videos for diverse platforms, including social media, websites, and broadcast.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble raw footage and organize it into a cohesive sequence.
• Edit video content to meet project specifications, including trimming, rearranging, and enhancing footage.
• Input music, sound effects, dialogues, graphics, and special effects to enhance visual storytelling.
• Review shooting scripts or outlines to create shot decision lists based on scene value and continuity.
• Create rough cuts and final edits while ensuring logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
• Perform color correction and grading to improve visual quality.
• Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques, tools, and trends to optimize efficiency.
• Manage video files with proper naming conventions and storage procedures.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of editing principles, timing, continuity, and storytelling techniques.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D composition, motion graphics, and sound design is a plus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, Media Production, or a related field.
• Experience in creating content for multiple platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TV).
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
