As a Video Editor at Social Simba, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual storytelling for our clients. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in video editing, a keen eye for detail, and a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of high-quality video projects.

Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, visually appealing videos for various digital platforms. Collaborate with creative teams to understand project goals and deliver video content that meets client objectives. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all video content. Incorporate motion graphics, special effects, and other visual elements to enhance video quality. Stay updated on industry trends and adopt new editing techniques to enhance video production quality. Manage and organize video assets for efficient workflow and retrieval.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Editing, or a related field. Minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience as a Video Editor. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects, including commercials, social media content, and promotional videos. Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication and time management skills.
