Video Editor
Job Description
A video editor's job is to take raw footage and turn it into a final product that meets the client's or director's vision. Some of their responsibilities include:
• Reviewing footage : Selecting shots and clips to tell a story, and removing unusable footage
• Assembling footage : Transferring footage to a computer, and organizing it into a sequence
• Editing : Using editing software to arrange and manipulate the footage, and add effects like sound, music, graphics, and transitions
• Creating a rough cut : Putting together a rough cut of the video, and determining the next steps
• Presenting the final product : Presenting the final cut to the director or client, and making changes based on their feedback
Other responsibilities of a video editor may include:
• Working to a brief, script, or screenplay
• Improving picture quality
• Creating DVDs or formatting footage for online viewing
• Ensuring videos meet the marketing team's specifications
• Implementing creative notes from stakeholders.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
Education:
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
• Video Editing: 1 year (Preferred)
