Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video. This role involves editing raw footage into a polished final product, incorporating music, graphics, and effects to enhance the narrative that matches our brand vision and is suitable for broadcasting.

Responsibilities:

• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity
• Oversee and integrate all visual and textual elements, including infographics and animations, to create cohesive and compelling video content
• Incorporate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the final product
• Enhance footage through color correction and grading
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency
• Collaborate closely with motion graphic designers and 3D teams to integrate animated elements and renders
• Review and understand brand guidelines to ensure all videos adhere to the company's visual style.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest editing technologies and techniques

Competencies and Experience:

• Experience : Minimum of 1 years of experience in video editing
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field preferred
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After effects
• Creative Skills : Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and composition
• Attention to Detail : Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot and fix errors
• Communication : Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D Plugins, and compositing

Location: Third Floor, Plot No. D-141, Phase 7B, Industrial Area, S.A.S Nagar, Mohali, 160055.
