We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through video and be skilled in the latest video editing techniques and software. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for recording, editing, and uploading high-quality educational videos to our channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record, edit, and upload videos to YouTube and other platforms.
• Create engaging YouTube Shorts with attention-grabbing effects.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and produce video content.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video content.
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
• Add text content and visual effects to enhance videos.
• Create rough and final cuts.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Record and edit educational videos to ensure they are informative and engaging.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communication, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in video editing.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and frame rates.
• Experience in creating YouTube videos and YouTube Shorts.
• Ability to add effects and text content to videos.
• Good command of the English language.
• Ability to work with a team and take direction well.
• Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in recording and editing educational videos.
• Ability to manage the complete video production process from recording to uploading.
