Job Description

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our [creative team/production department/etc.]. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creative vision, and proficiency with video editing software.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble footage into a cohesive and engaging video product.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects as needed.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video content.
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor, demonstrating a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Degree in film studies, media production, or related field preferred.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not Required):

• Motion graphics and animation experience.
• Knowledge of color grading and correction.
• Experience in handling audio editing software and techniques.
