Job Description

Tasks :

• Edit raw video footage, ensuring seamless transitions, audio synchronization, and visual continuity.
• Help create video assets for social platforms
• Create title graphics and thumbnails as necessary
• Utilize video editing software and tools such as Adobe Premier Pro, In Design, Photoshop, Premier Pro and After Effects or other relevant software, to edit and enhance video content.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, software advancements and industry trends to continuously improve quality and storytelling.
• Incorporate creative storytelling techniques, such as cuts, transitions, overlays and effects to enhance video content and maintain viewer engagement.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives, vision, and target audience, ensuring video content aligns with brand guidelines.
• Review and select the best shots and sequences, trimming and rearranging footage as necessary to optimize the storytelling process.
• Enhance video quality through colour correction, colour grading and adjusting lighting and audio levels.
• Manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project deadlines.
• Collaborate with the creative team, including graphic designers, videographers and copywriter to ensure cohesive and visually appealing video content.
• Maintain organized video libraries and archives, managing and backing up video files for easy accessibility and retrieval.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Proven experience of 1-2 years as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creative storytelling abilities.
• Strong understanding of video editing principles, techniques and industry-standard best practices.
• Knowledge of visual storytelling, composition, colour theory and audio editing platforms.
• Familiarity with various video formats, codecs and export settings for different platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?250,000.00 - ?350,000.00 per year
