Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting. The ideal candidate should be able to bring sight and sound together to tell a cohesive and compelling story.

Reviewing raw material to determine the shot list Trimming footage segments and putting together the sequence of the film Inputting sound and audio files and reviewing and adjusting the levels of the sound to ensure the best quality Manipulating the video to achieve a desired outcome Rearranging and modifying footage to create a seamless final product Selecting the appropriate video effects and transitions to enhance the video Creating and inserting static and motion graphics Collaborating with the creative team to ensure the video meets project requirements Continuously discovering and implementing new editing technologies and industry's best practices Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or a related field is preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a professional setting. Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer Experience in motion graphics and animation software such as After Effects or Cinema 4D is a plus Excellent teamwork skills Ability to work under tight deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Ability to take constructive feedback and work collaboratively with the team
