Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a polished final product that aligns with the project vision. This role requires technical expertise, storytelling skills, and a strong eye for visuals and pacing.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into engaging and high-quality videos for various platforms (e.g., social media, websites, advertisements, films).
• Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to understand project objectives and deliver content that meets client expectations.
• Add music, sound effects, graphics, and special effects to enhance video quality.
• Perform color correction and audio editing to maintain consistency and professionalism.
• Ensure final video outputs align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
• Manage and organize video assets and archives efficiently.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in video editing and post-production technology.

Requirements

• Education : Degree/Diploma in Film Editing, Multimedia, or related field (preferred).
• Experience : Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
• Technical Skills :
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects, Blender) is a plus.
• Understanding of color grading, audio editing, and sound mixing techniques.
• Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
• Creative Skills :
• Strong storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to visualize ideas and bring concepts to life.
• Soft Skills :
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 2D/3D animation is a bonus.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content trends.
• Basic knowledge of photography or videography.
