Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of storytelling. You will be responsible for editing video content to create engaging, high-quality productions that align with our brand and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos that meet project requirements and standards.
• Storytelling: Develop and maintain the overall narrative of the video, ensuring a coherent and engaging story flow.
• Visual and Audio Enhancement: Enhance video with appropriate effects, transitions, graphics, and audio. Ensure audio levels and quality are balanced and professional.
• Collaboration: Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals, review footage, and make necessary edits.
• Revisions: Incorporate feedback and make revisions to video content as needed, ensuring final products meet client or project specifications.
• File Management: Organize and manage video files and assets efficiently. Ensure proper backup and archiving of all project files.
• Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with video editing software and technology trends. Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project schedules.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Multimedia Arts, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in video editing, preferably in a professional setting.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and file management.
• Experience with motion graphics and visual effects using software like Adobe After Effects is a plus.
• Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging content from raw footage.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with current video trends, styles, and best practices.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with possible remote work options, depending on the project.
• Flexibility in working hours may be required to meet deadlines or accommodate project needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?10,667.51 - ?37,771.70 per month
