Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the video production process, a passion for storytelling, and experience working with various video editing software. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including promotional videos, social media content, and long-form media, ensuring that the final product aligns with our vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit video content for various platforms including social media, websites, and presentations. Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand the project goals and vision. Assemble raw footage into a polished final product, ensuring consistency in tone, pace, and style. Incorporate graphics, animations, special effects, sound, and music to enhance the video. Color correct and adjust audio to improve the overall quality of the video. Manage video projects from conception to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met. Stay up to date with the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques. Organize and maintain digital files and video libraries. Ensure the final video meets the quality standards set by the team or client. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to video editing software and equipment.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a video editor or similar role. Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Strong knowledge of video codecs, formats, and compression techniques. Experience with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., After Effects). Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Creativity and a good sense of visual storytelling. Knowledge of color grading and sound design is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field (preferred). 2+ years of professional video editing experience (preferred). Female candidate preferred
