Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in producing high-quality video content across various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging video content that communicates the intended message.
• Collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and production teams to understand project goals and translate them into impactful visual narratives.
• Enhance video content with graphics, animations, special effects, sound design, and color correction.
• Maintain high standards of video quality by ensuring attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of creativity.
• Edit videos for different formats and platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook) ensuring optimization for each.
• Input music, voiceovers, dialogues, and sound effects into videos where required.
• Work with the team to continuously improve video production processes and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and tools to ensure cutting-edge video production.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in / or a related field is a plus.
• 2+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software like After Effects is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and editing workflows.
• Ability to color correct, apply special effects, and improve the overall visual quality of videos.
• Solid experience with sound design, syncing audio, and implementing voiceovers.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen sense of visual storytelling.
• Strong communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize workload effectively under tight deadlines.
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating a strong command of video editing, creative vision, and technical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with animation and/or motion graphics.
• Knowledge of basic cinematography and experience with cameras is a plus.
• Understanding of digital marketing strategies and how video content plays a role in them.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
