Job Description

Chokas Media is looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team and independently handle a variety of video projects, primarily focused on the music industry. The role will involve editing music videos, film content, web series, and other music-related content. You will be responsible for the entire video editing process, from start to finish, with no additional team support. This is a unique opportunity to work independently and showcase your skills in a creative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for music projects, films, and web series.
• Handle all aspects of video editing, including cutting, color grading, sound design, and applying visual effects.
• Create engaging, visually compelling narratives that align with the artistic direction of each project.
• Work directly with clients or stakeholders to understand the creative vision and ensure the final product meets their expectations.
• Incorporate creative elements such as transitions, special effects, motion graphics, and animations as needed.
• Ensure the video meets industry standards for quality, audio-visual synchronization, and format specifications.
• Manage all project files and archived footage in an organized manner, ensuring efficient workflow for future revisions.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain high production quality, with minimal supervision.
• Stay updated on trends in the music and entertainment industries, continually improving your technical and creative skills.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably with a strong portfolio in music videos, film, or entertainment content.
• Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Proficient in color correction, sound editing, visual effects, and motion graphics.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high creative standards throughout the editing process.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality videos on tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to understand project requirements and implement feedback effectively.
• Knowledge of current trends in the music industry and a passion for creating music-related content is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and offer creative solutions during the editing process.

Working Hours & Days:

• Timings: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Days: Seven days a week (Full-Time commitment)

• Video Editing: 2 years (Preferred)
