Job Title : Video Editor

Key Responsibilities :

• Video Editing : Edit raw footage into polished video content for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, social media, advertisements, documentaries, etc.).
• Storytelling : Ensure videos have a coherent structure and effective pacing that aligns with the project's goals.
• Collaborate : Work closely with the creative team, including directors, producers, and other content creators, to understand the vision and produce content that meets expectations.
• Post-Production : Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, and graphics. Color correct footage and apply necessary visual effects.
• Ensure Consistency : Maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity across all video content.
• Manage Footage : Organize, label, and archive raw footage, project files, and final exports for easy access.
• Adapt to Feedback : Revise videos according to feedback from stakeholders, making necessary changes and improvements.
• Meet Deadlines : Ensure timely delivery of high-quality edited content, even under tight deadlines.

Key Skills :

• Technical Skills : Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Creative Skills : Strong sense of timing, pacing, and attention to detail. Ability to tell a story visually.
• Communication : Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Problem Solving : Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during the editing process.
• Attention to Detail : Precision in editing, ensuring all visual and audio elements are in sync.
• Knowledge of Formats : Familiarity with various video formats and export settings for different platforms.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
• Experience : Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Experience in Motion Graphics : Ability to create or edit motion graphics and animations (preferred).
• Experience with Color Grading : Knowledge of color grading tools and techniques (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
