Video Editor is responsible for taking and assembling the raw footage and turning it into cohesive video by following the outline and script within the timeline. She/he should translate ideas into complete projects. \xe2\x97\x8f Takes a brief to understand the requirements and specifications of production team \xe2\x97\x8f Reviews raw footage and script and creates shot decision list \xe2\x97\x8f Assembles footage and manipulates and edits the content pieces \xe2\x97\x8f Trims footage segments and put together the sequence of the film \xe2\x97\x8f Ensures logical sequencing and smooth running of video \xe2\x97\x8f Inputs music, dialogues, graphics and effects; Create rough and final cuts \xe2\x97\x8f Creates mockups that clients, internal team to check and approve the style, effects etc \xe2\x97\x8f Comes up with creative ideas for videos from the existing content; Supports audience developers in building audience over various social media platforms with the new and creative edits \xe2\x97\x8f Creates Motion Graphics (Motion Posters) as and when required \xe2\x97\x8f Ensure deliveries are as per the client requirements \xe2\x97\x8f Need to be updated with the trends in Editing; Should be able to learn and work on any related new soft-wares and production techniques \xe2\x97\x8f Adhering to timelines in order to meet the delivery times 1.
