Job Title: Video Editing Trainer

Role Overview:

The Video Editing Trainer at Adsomia India Pvt Limited will be responsible for training and mentoring aspiring video editors in various techniques and tools used in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in video editing, with expertise in 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, color grading, composition, tracking, and AI generation. The trainer will design and deliver comprehensive training programs, ensuring that students gain practical skills and knowledge to excel in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Program Development:

- Design and develop training modules covering video editing, 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, color grading, composition, tracking, and AI generation.

- Ensure the curriculum is up-to-date with industry trends and standards.

2. Instruction and Mentoring:

- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to students.

- Provide hands-on training and real-world project experiences.

- Mentor students and provide feedback to help them improve their skills.

3. Technical Expertise:

- Teach students how to use industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and other relevant tools.

- Instruct on advanced techniques in animation, motion graphics, and AI-driven content creation.

4. Practical Projects:

- Develop practical projects and assignments that allow students to apply their skills.

- Guide students through project workflows, from concept to final output.

5. Assessment and Evaluation:

- Assess students' progress through assignments, projects, and exams.

- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve.

6. Industry Insights:

- Share industry insights and trends with students to prepare them for real-world challenges.

- Facilitate guest lectures and workshops with industry professionals.

7. Resource Management:

- Maintain training resources, including software licenses, hardware, and course materials.

- Ensure the training environment is conducive to learning and up-to-date with technological advancements.

8. Student Support:

- Offer individual support and tutoring to students who need extra help.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

9. Continuous Improvement:

- Continuously update personal knowledge and skills in video editing and related fields.

- Implement feedback from students and peers to improve training programs.

10. Collaboration:

- Work closely with other trainers and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to curriculum planning and development.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Animation, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in video editing and related fields.

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.

- Expertise in 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, color grading, composition, tracking, and AI generation.

- Strong teaching and mentoring skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in creating educational content or training materials.

- Certification in video editing or animation software.

- Prior teaching or training experience in a formal setting.
