Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and the full Adobe Creative Suite , along with a strong understanding of animations, transitions , and advanced video editing techniques . Additionally, proficiency in Photoshop for image editing and seamless integration with video content is required. This position will play a key role in producing high-quality, engaging video content for a variety of platforms, including social media, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos, ensuring the final product aligns with brand guidelines and creative vision.
• After Effects & Premiere Pro Expertise: Use Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro to create dynamic animations, special effects, and transitions that elevate video quality.
• Animation & Transitions: Design and integrate smooth, eye-catching animations and transitions to create compelling visual storytelling and enhance the viewing experience.
• Creative Storytelling: Work closely with the creative team to interpret project briefs, contribute creative ideas, and ensure the final video meets the project's goals and objectives.
• Image Editing & Enhancement: Use Photoshop to edit images, create graphics, and enhance visuals that will be incorporated into videos.
• Collaborative Editing Process: Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to ensure smooth workflows and timely delivery of video projects.
• Sound & Music Synchronization: Edit audio to ensure proper synchronization with video, enhancing the overall viewer experience. This may include music, voiceovers, and sound effects.
• Post-Production: Handle color correction, video rendering, and final mastering of video files for distribution across platforms.
• Multiplatform Video Formatting: Prepare videos for different platforms, ensuring they are optimized for social media, web, and other media outlets.
• Feedback & Revisions: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and adjust edits as necessary to meet client or internal expectations.
• Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep up with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and tools to bring fresh and innovative ideas to each project.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in editing, animation, and post-production.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite , including Adobe Premiere Pro , After Effects , and Photoshop .
• Strong understanding of animations , transitions , and advanced video editing techniques to create dynamic and engaging content.
• Proficiency in image editing using Photoshop to enhance visual assets and integrate them seamlessly into video projects.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics, ensuring high-quality output and consistency across all projects.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Creative problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver innovative video solutions.
• Familiarity with video compression , file formats, and export settings for various digital platforms and devices.
• A solid understanding of video pacing , timing , and story structure .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with motion graphics and visual effects .
• Familiarity with sound editing tools like Adobe Audition or Audacity.
• Experience working with stock footage libraries and incorporating them into original projects.
• Knowledge of color grading techniques using tools such as DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro's Lumetri Color panel.
• Understanding of SEO best practices for video content , such as optimizing YouTube videos for search.
• Knowledge of 3D animation or any other advanced visual effects is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
