Position: VP / Sr. VP - Human Capital
Job Location: Surat
Job description
1. Responsible to develop plans and policies for matters such as employee compensation, benefits, health, and safety, etc.
2. Develop and implement strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training, and development, etc.
3. Supervise HR personnel and provide expert guidance.
4. Oversee all the HR activities, initiatives, systems, and tactics.
5. Act as a point of contact for employee relations.
6. Ensure compliance with all the legal aspects applicable.
7. Maintain and coordinate all activities within the HR department.
8. Ensure compliance with all internal policies and standards.
9. Ensure grievance redressal and invoke disciplinary actions when required.
10. Analyze data and report to the board and senior managers using HR Metrics.
11. Participate in executive, management, and company staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
12. Communicate with external services providers such as housing, transport, insurance, etc.
13. Strategize programs and policies to enhance employee growth and satisfaction.
14. Develop policies to curb absenteeism and employee turnover.
Qualification & Experience:
1. Master\'s Degree in Human Resources from an institution of repute or its equivalent.
2. Minimum 18 years relevant experience.
3. Sound knowledge of human resources and labour law.
4. Sufficient knowledge of MS Office and HR related software.
5. Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
6. Additional understanding and knowledge of human behavior will be appreciated.
7. Demonstrated ability to establish key relationships with business leaders.
8. Experience with interfacing with international audiences.
9. Ability to work against tight deadlines
