This role is to be amember of a payments team focused on delivering seamless customer experiences that enable and encourage customers to use Chase cards wherever, whenever, and however they want to pay. This leader will manage critical priorities in the backlog, including platform and customer-facing solutions, and be the voice of product and the customer with engineering and other key partners in India. The person in this role must be able to work well across time zones, have strong experience in product management and Agile product delivery, with a passion for driving \'start-up\' efforts in large companies, and a desire to be on the bleeding edge of technology and digital payments. Job Responsibilities Translate business, customer and technical problems into well-defined platform or product capabilities and features, leading product discovery, assessing and gathering requirements and defining user stories and acceptance criteria as needed Partner well with Technology and Design teams to lead product developments efforts for both back-end and front-end teams Manage team backlog, ensure strong backlog health and agile metrics, and ensure product representation in team ceremonies Conduct pre-release reviews which could include regression testing, quality assurance and User Acceptance Testing to certify the release as production ready, as well as participate in post-release production validation activities Monitor any product change request and assist when required in resolving production related problems, issue & defect resolution and prioritization Monitor against agreed goals and benchmarks, identifying, scoping and finding implementation paths for needed enhancements Collaborate with a team of cross-functional partners (i.e. Risk, Control, Compliance, Legal) to ensure a strong risk and controls environment, and creating remediation plans when needed. Deliver communications to executives and leadership team on strategy and progress Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 7+ years of experience in financial services, digital, product management and / or Agile software development Deep experience in online payments including wallets and/or partner integrations Passion for understanding customer needs and demonstrated ability to build digital products Ability to think strategically and to connect the dots to the bigger picture, while still comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution Proven success in collaborating, influencing and driving decisions with multiple stakeholders, including team members across product, technology and design Strong knowledge of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), open Banking and engineering practices. Strong understanding of product development using Agile / Scrum Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and create high quality product artifacts and documentation to achieve strong stakeholder alignment and high quality execution Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Business Management or comparable field of study Proven track record of managing risk and controls End-to-end ownership mentality
