This is what #LifeAtBNYMellon is all about.We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking future team members for our Engineering business with roles located in Chennai and Pune in HYBRID positions.In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll make an impact in the following ways:The Scrum Leader is responsible for establishing and maintaining Scrum principles and practices within the organization. They facilitate understanding of Scrum theory and practice, ensuring smooth implementation within the Scrum Team (Team), Product Owner, and the organization. The primary responsibilities include:

• Facilitating Scrum events and ensuring they are positive, productive, and kept within time constraints.
• Removing impediments to the Team\'s progress and helping teams focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
• Coaching Teams in self-management and cross-functionality.
• Facilitating stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed by the Product Owner.
• Providing techniques for effective product goal definition, backlog management, and empirical product planning.
• Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work.
• Removing barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensuring Scrum principles and practices are followed, and Scrum team events occur productively and within timeboxes.
• Removing impediments identified by Teams and tracking/resolving team dependencies.
• Supporting programs in problem identification, root cause analysis, and decision-making.
• Facilitating Teams to deliver expected outcomes with high quality and achieving daily and iteration goals.
• Using data-driven approaches to improve team performance and product quality.
• Working with Portfolio and Product leaders to manage the program backlog and guide the program.
• Ensuring quality of agile practices within their teams\' expertise.
• Facilitating team-level events as well as Big Room Planning and program-level events.
• Overseeing and coaching less experienced Scrum Leaders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience in Scrum Master role for software development.
• Awareness and experience with widely used Agile frameworks.
• Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFE, SSM.
• Knowledge of various Agile approaches: Scrum, SAFe, XP, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Planning, Automated Testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
