As an experienced Technical Product Manager to drive product development of our newly established Card Data Agility team. This team was built to identify, create, and deliver new value from our card data assets.As a Vice President, Product Manager - in the Card Data team, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.Job responsibilities

  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
  • Partner with engineers and data scientists to drive product innovation, make informed decisions, and solve complex data problems.
  • Take customer needs and translate them into a list of requirements that will lead to the creation of a product that meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Understand the experiences, challenges, and needs of card data customers of card data which include the entire suite of Chase card products, backend payment authorization and processing, and analytics teams. Proactively reach out to listen to their stories and gather feedback.
  • Responsible for the full product development lifecycle from concept to go-to-market (GTM). Creation of clean, clear, and concise documentation.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders and our dev team to plan our book of work, defining roadmaps, and setting ambitious yet achievable goals.
  • Meet regularly with relevant stakeholders, managing their expectations, and strategically communicating with them to ensure alignment and buy-in throughout the product lifecycle.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
  • 5+ years working in platform product management.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Sciences, or related field.
  • Proven experience taking a product from conception and definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market.
  • Experience building request-response (HTTP) or event streaming (Kafka) APIs. Technical ability to understand, design, and explain complex product and data strategies to both business and technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of Cloud (AWS) computing and architecture.
  • Superior communication skills - oral and written; your documentation is second to none.
  • Independently driven, tenacious, and hard working.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Recognized thought leader within a related field.
  • Master\'s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Sciences, or related field.
  • Practical knowledge of JIRA to build roadmaps.
