We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Technology Product Manager II to join our Digital Assets Business team. This role is located in Pune - HYBRID.

Role responsibilities

As a member of the Digital Assets team, the primary focus and responsibilities will be to deliver high value products / solutions and advance the digital assets agenda across the enterprise \xe2\x80\x93 more specifically delivering digital asset capabilities. Main responsibilities will include:

• Work with stakeholders and SMEs to analyse, define, and prioritize the business requirements, functional specifications, and operational architecture for a functional work stream within a highly complex strategic, global program.
• Formulate and define scope and objectives for the product deliverables with thorough understanding of business processes in a specific business domain.
• Manage scope and change throughout the initiative utilizing formal change control and requirements traceability.
• Evaluate digital asset opportunities across BNY Mellon businesses. Develop platform strategy and roadmap to bring compelling digital asset capabilities to clients.
• Serve as Blockchain, DLT solutions expert to build digital asset servicing capabilities in partnership with business teams and technology. This includes designing and delivering pilots.
• Evaluate different Blockchain protocols / platforms to explore alternative solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor to deliver blockchain based solutions.
• Provide guidance on blockchain, DLT capabilities \xe2\x80\x93 available internally or in the marketplace \xe2\x80\x93 to determine best path forward factoring in feasibility, maturity of solutions, cost, time to market etc.
• Maintain familiarity with industry best practices and seek opportunities to implement as appropriate.
• Resolve the most complex issues or inquiries from senior-level or key individuals at clients, as needed.

To be successful in this role, we\xe2\x80\x99re seeking the following:

Advanced Degree in Math, Science / Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.

• 10 + years of total work experience with at least 5 year in product development preferred.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising product managers, project managers, and engineering.
• Experience in designing and developing Blockchain, DsLT solutions.
• Deep technical understanding of leading blockchain protocols, strengths and gaps
• Strong experience designing and developing Distributed Systems, and Microservices
• Experience working with fin-techs / start-ups in the blockchain / DLT space a plus
• Entrepreneurial and results oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to accomplish goals through others, including employees, peers, and other function/business areas of the company.
• Experience in the securities, financial services, or asset management industry a plus
