Job Description


:The role is accountable for

  • Being a strategic leader responsible for orchestrating talent strategy across multiple business divisions, including Banking & Capital Markets, Media & Entertainment, Energy & Infra, Consumer & Retail
  • Partnering with senior leadership to drive talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and HR solutions that align with business goals and objectives
  • Leading a team of HR professionals who serve as trusted advisors to the business, ensuring that HR practices support the growth, development, and transformation of the organization
  • Strategic HR Partnership:
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across business units to understand organizational needs and challenges, translating them into actionable HR strategies
  • Provide expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, employee engagement, and leadership development
  • Drive change management initiatives to support business transformation, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring efforts
  • Talent Management & Development:
  • Partner with business leaders to create talent acquisition and development strategies that ensure a diverse, high-performing workforce
  • Champion employee development programs, succession planning, and leadership development to foster growth within each business unit
  • Promote an inclusive and high-engagement culture that attracts and retains top talent in competitive industries such as banking and capital markets
  • Employee Relations & Organizational Effectiveness:
  • Advise and guide leaders on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and policy interpretation for their portfolio
  • Work closely with the HR team to monitor employee satisfaction and culture across departments, implementing strategies to improve engagement and retention
  • Drive initiatives that promote a positive, equitable, and collaborative workplace environment
  • HR Process & Policy Oversight:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements across the business units
  • Leverage HR data and analytics to measure and drive key metrics related to talent, turnover, productivity, and organizational effectiveness
  • Budget & Resource Management:
  • Collaborate with finance to assess workforce costs and make data-driven decisions that optimize investments in talent
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage timelines, and execute on complex projects
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong understanding of Operations, technology platforms, and data analytics
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and navigate organizational dynamics
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and drive initiatives forward
  • Ability to lead and the performance reviews with senior management, work on action points
  • Experience of dealing in transformation projects

  • Exposure to interaction with regional counterparts
  • An understanding of financial principles and the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues, keep managers and peers well informed on a recurrent basis
  • Experience & Skills
  • 12-13 years of progressive HR Operations and leadership experience managing/supporting multiple geographies and locations, including experience as HR Business Partner at strategic level
  • Proven track record in leading organizational change, talent development, and performance management within a global or large-scale organization
  • Strong expertise in managing complex, multi-faceted teams across diverse industries
  • Work well under pressure, managing deadlines and demonstrating flexibility in handling multiple priorities
  • Strong Organization skills and ability to operate fairly independently
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior leadership
